Wavefront, aberrometry & corneal topography measurements in Berlin

Wavefront or aberrometry measurements use a high-precision camera to determine the refractive power distribution and irregularity over the entire surface of the cornea, and as it were the pupil. In contrast to standard measurements of corneal refractive power, higher-order-errors can be determined, which can lead to vision problems despite well-fitted glasses/contact lenses.

In addition, wavefront measurement before cataract surgery serves to optimize the desired surgical result. The measurement is non-contact and takes only a few seconds.
