IOL-Master® – to measure the biometry of the eye in Berlin

The IOL Master® from ZEISS is the gold standard in optical biometry, with more than 100 million successful IOL power calculations to date. It is fundamental in measuring the eye length and surface curvature necessary for cataract surgery. It is able to calculate exactly the required lens power to achieve the desired post-surgical refractive outcome for the patient. Both eyes can be measured in less than 60 seconds. Also, because the IOL Master is non-contact, non- invasive, there is no need for anesthesia and there is no potential for spread of contamination.
